Marina Cala Galera is a modern private marina immersed in the natural beauty of Monte Argentario. It is located less than a kilometer from Porto Ercole and about 4 kilometers from Orbetello.
Cala Galera Marina, completed in 1974 during the time Susanna Agnelli was Mayor of Argentario, was one of the first private marinas built in Italy and has been one of the leading marinas in Italy since its inauguration. Recently, Cala Galera Marina was completely renovated, definitively becoming the flagship of Monte Argentario.
Cala Galera Marina offers 670 berths, including 60 reserved for vessels in transit. The maximum length for vessels is 50 meters, and the water depth ranges from 3.5 to 6.5 meters.

Marina Cala Galera has long held the Blue Flag, awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education to European marinas that meet the quality criteria established by the FEE.

ACCESS AND HOURS
Marina Cala Galera is accessible 24 hours a day, 360 days a year.
Marina Cala Galera, on the southwest coast of Argentario, is accessible in all weather conditions, as the port is naturally sheltered by its promontory. The unique structure of the breakwater prevents the only potential obstacle—the Sirocco wind—allowing any vessel easy entry and exit.

CONTROL TOWER
The Control Tower, located at the entrance to the port, coordinates and controls traffic and assigns berths to boaters. Communication between the Control Tower and the vessels is maintained day and night on VHF channel 9.

LIGHTS AND LIGHTHOUSES
2180 (E 1504) - Red isophase light with white sector, 2-second period, range 10 m in the white sector and 7 m in the red sector, at the head of the outer breakwater (white sector visible from 197° to 017°, red from 017° to 197°); 2181 (E 1504.4) - Green isophase light, 2-second period, range 6 m, at the head of the inner breakwater (visible from 085° to 275°).

DANGERS NEAR THE PORT
From the green lighthouse, towards the coast, there is a 2-meter shallow reef with a radius of 100 meters.

SEABED AND SEABED
The seabed is sandy near the harbor entrance and muddy inside. The dockside water depth varies from 3.5 to 6 meters.

WINDS
The Sirocco winds, the Mistral, rise and fall with the sun in summer. Crosswinds: East - South-East. Sheltered by winds: Quadrant I, II, and IV.

SAFE ROADSHORES NEARBY
The nearest safe roadsteads are in Porto Ercole, the Santa Caterina roadstead and the Avvoltore roadstead, 0.5 and 2 meters apart, open to the winds and seas of Quadrant II and III.

MOORINGS AVAILABLE
The marina has 670 berths, of which approximately 60 are reserved for transit, for vessels from 6 to 50 meters in length.

MOORING
Mooring is carried out with chains on the mooring posts and guide cables. Each vessel has rings or bollards on the docks.

PROHIBITIONS
The maximum speed allowed within the port is 3 knots. Sailing and access to the port are prohibited. Dropping anchor is prohibited.

WATER AND ELECTRICITY
Electricity is available directly at the dock. Drinking water and water for washing are also available. Each berth has its own exclusive 220/380V power supply and water supply. Each supply is equipped with a circuit breaker.

BOAT ASSISTANCE
Engine repair, technical and electronic assistance, hull repairs, and sail repairs.

PORT ASSISTANCE
Security, Mooring, Pilotage, and Divers.

ATM - Cash Machine
An ATM is available at the Sottoflutto pier.

FUEL STATION
A refueling station with diesel and premium gasoline is available at the dock at the entrance to the port. Opening hours are 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

ICE
Ice can be purchased at the bar at the Sottoflutto Pier.

WI-FI
The modern Wi-Fi system is available throughout Marina Cala Galera. It is available for a fee and offers hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly subscriptions.

PARKING
A large parking lot is located just a few meters from the entrance to Marina Cala Galera.

BOAT STORAGE
Boat storage companies offer both open-air and covered storage.

WASTE AND WASTE COLLECTION
The marina offers separate waste collection and waste collection.

SHIPYARD
The shipyard has two travelifts for up to 80 tons and a slipway for up to 300 tons, and also offers large spaces in the innermost part.
